1. What information do we collect?

Information you provide directly:

  • ·Names, email addresses, usernames, and passwords
  • ·Profile details such as company name, bio, and profile photo
  • ·Campaign and deal information
  • ·Messages sent through the platform's messaging system
  • ·Payment data — handled and stored by Stripe. We do not store your card details.

Social login data:

If you register using a social media account (such as TikTok), we receive profile information from that provider as described in Section 3 below.

Information collected automatically:

  • ·IP address, browser type, device characteristics, and operating system
  • ·Pages visited, actions taken, and session data
  • ·Approximate location based on IP address
  • ·Referring URLs and language preferences

2. How do we process your information?

We process your personal information for the following purposes:

  • ·To facilitate account creation, authentication, and account management
  • ·To match creators with relevant brand campaigns
  • ·To process payments and manage transactions
  • ·To send administrative information, updates, and notifications
  • ·To respond to user inquiries and provide support
  • ·To detect fraud, enforce our Terms, and protect the platform
  • ·To identify usage trends and improve our Services
  • ·To comply with legal obligations

3. TikTok and social login data

If you connect your TikTok account via Login Kit, we collect the following from TikTok's API:

  • ·TikTok username and display name
  • ·Profile picture
  • ·Follower count, following count, and total likes

We use this only to verify your identity and display your stats to brands on the platform. We do not post to your account, access your private messages, or collect anything beyond what is listed above.

You can disconnect your TikTok account at any time from your profile settings. To request deletion of your TikTok data, email hello@joincreator.co.

4. What legal bases do we rely on?

We only process your personal information when we have a valid legal basis to do so. Depending on your location, we may rely on:

  • ·Consent — where you have given us specific permission
  • ·Performance of a contract — to provide the Services you have signed up for
  • ·Legitimate interests — to operate, improve, and protect our platform
  • ·Legal obligations — to comply with applicable law

If you are located in the EU, UK, or Canada, you may withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis for processing.

5. When and with whom do we share your information?

Brands and creators

Your profile information is visible to the other party when you are working on a campaign together.

Service providers

We share data with trusted third-party providers including Stripe (payments), hosting providers, and analytics services. These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and may only use your data as directed by us.

Business transfers

In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.

Legal requirements

When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Creator Software Inc., our users, or the public.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

6. Do we use cookies and tracking technologies?

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how people use the platform. We may use Google Analytics to track and analyze usage — you can opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work as expected if cookies are disabled.

7. How long do we keep your information?

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. No purpose in this policy will require us to keep your information longer than the period in which you have an account with us, unless a longer retention period is required by law (such as tax or accounting requirements). Upon account deletion, we remove your personal information within 30 days.

8. How do we keep your information safe?

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no electronic transmission over the internet can be guaranteed 100% secure, and we cannot promise that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat our security measures.

9. Do we collect information from minors?

Creator is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or market to children under 18. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a minor, we will delete it immediately.

10. What are your privacy rights?

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:

11. Controls for Do-Not-Track features

Most web browsers include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals.

12. Do United States residents have specific privacy rights?

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, or other US states with applicable privacy laws, you may have the right to request access to, correct, or delete the personal information we maintain about you. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated date at the top. If we make material changes, we will notify you by prominently posting a notice or by sending you a direct notification before the changes take effect.
